didn't do as well as Mike from MI but once again I have an unusual item (eyeball find in a playground) that I found. Here is a pic of my finds from 2 park playgrounds:
<p align=center><img src="http://coinshooter.owly.net/Finds050905a.JPG"></p></center>
1 Nickel, 10 Dimes and 36 pennies and another 'heart shaped item' to add to my 'heart collection'
Nasty looking razor blade and nail were removed for the kids safety. First razor blade I've found. First belt buckle I have found as well. The screwdriver wasn't found in a play area but instead out on this barrackaded street:

Of course, curiosity dictated I go see where this street ended up. It was a winding street about a half mile long. The storm drain covers along the gutters had the grates missing or in the sewer system. It was a dead end that lead no where. Lots of garbage and trash along the sides of this street. Found the screwdriver lying on the pavement in the middle of the street (another eye ball find).
Here are two views of the mystery item. Do you know what it might be? How about a guess? I think I know but would like to see if anyone else comes up with what it is or what they think it is.

As you see it is filled with holes and about small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.
Any thoughts?

That is a strange item Pete. I dont have any ideas. Good eyeballin - speaking of heaqrts - I have a heart collection also. They are by far the most frequent shape found maybe. Do you think so ? Steve

That old street looks like there might be an old park down there somewhere!

Actually people drove thru the park to go around a steel barrackade across the road - since people were going around it they put those big boulders in the street.
It didn't do any good as I walked back on a path - following vehicle tracks - that lead back to the same park I started at - just further from the drive into the area.
Felt a bit uneasy being back in that area (especially after seeing a guy ahd his two Rottweillers coming in my direction as I was entering the area. Was hoping to not run into a corpse, a gang or those dogs.

people use for stress felief or building up the hand and forearm muscles. You guys all have some good uses for it and they all make sense. Never heard of a flower frog before but doing a seatch for it on Google turned up lots of hits.
Appreciate your thoughts on this. Wonder what I will find next????
