Magnetometer's

I saw the Aquapulse1B on a UK web site. Is this Eric's design? Also there was the AX2000 magentometer shown. How wide can this unit scan? If I was looking for an iron box the size of a bread box to a trunk size in 40 feet of water. How wide can I get this thing to scan. What is the smallest object it will respond too so as not to pick up every small scrap of iron or steel material? thanks.
