As some of you may know, I work in Law Enforcement. We recently received a fax at work and get this... Google provides a nifty feature... a reverse lookup.
Go to Google and enter your home phone number in the search box then hit search. If you are not an unpublished number, the nice jerks at Google give out not only your name and address BUT two different maps (yahoo and mapquest) that show where your house is !!!!
What A$$holes they are to provide this info online for free. Reverse lookup has always been available in a "Coles" directory that was a regional book available on a limited basis.
In these days of liability, they must just be looking to get their a$$es sued off.
Google does provide you the option to remove this info, but it takes 48 hrs. You shouldn't have to ask them to be removed. This info should not be available so easily. Check it out... George

have you searched your computer in the last few years. you can find that info anywhere.

I'll never Get a home Phone again. I use a Cell Phone Only. it's harder to track owners. Not Impossable , I know , but harder
