he was pretty active on the web back when I first started in the webbing and putering. I have no idea what ever happened to him but this is one of the best detecting story's I have read.
I printed it out years ago and today I am packing some stuff to take up north and ran across the story. I looked it up on the web and it is still there.
If you like metal detecting, you will like this story

something really bent him out of shape over on the Christian forum, a few years back and he just disappeared. I talked to him on the phone a couple years ago but nothing since
 
that is quite sad, he was such a person that we all looked up to and I am sure that many miss him the way I do.

he told me he was going North today Orlando, he will likely tell you in the morning as he is for sure sacked out <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> I think its been several years.

I will have to ask Gary, I don't remember. When I decided the Depot was not the type of site I wanted to post on I was hunting for a home. Gary set this up and pretty much told me I was gonna run it and I did.
It has probably been three or four years. I will check with Gary
 
posting on T-net at least 10 years ago though, probably longer
 
i posted the story about the stern Basptist preacher 5 years ago.......I THINK!
