Looking for some guidance on maps
I live in Vigo county , Harrison township and thought i would start looking at old maps of the area to possibly locate old schools that are long gone.

Can anyone suggest a type of map that i should be looking for and resources for those maps?
 
and see if they have access to sanborn fire insurance maps... You used to be able to look at these over the internet, but seems you can't view them any more... unless someone knows the new passwords to get you into the system...These are the ticket to put you on the rite spots....
