March 8th 2014 Relic Hunt

Last month, Brad Carroll invited me to their camp site to see what the Vista Gold could find in hit hard areas. The machine impressed Brad. Yesterday, John Carroll wanted to see what the machine could do so he invited me back to their place to hunt some more pounded areas. I found a Union "I" cuff button, button back, 2 underwear buttons, face to a plain button, Eagle Shield button, 3 Ringer, and a carved bullet. He really likes the VGold. The cuff "I" was at 13 inches with a large nail on the back and the button was straight up and down with other nails around it. Tough, tough for any machine to tap that.

The Gold looks like you are making believers out a few people. Can't wait til spring to hit all my worked out cellar holes hunted with other detectors. The 5x8" coil should work well on my Gold.
