Maximum depth for bigger objects

Hey, I am new to the XP DEUS and here in this forums. At the moment I was searching for variuos settings which I could use for my Deus and almoust every program that I have found (COLD, Hot, Garry's programs etc.) was dedicated for coins. So I wonder what settings would be the best in search for bigger object(for example helmets and such) in maximum depth? In my particular situation metal discrimination is't very important

The Gold Field program goes a lot deeper than any other of the stock programs. It does not discriminate but I've found that setting the IAR to about 3 helps to disc iron tones from other tones. HH.

Good question, I agree Goldfield is a killer for big deep targets, here are some thoughts.

My deep settings
Use a lower frequency
Reactivity about 2 or 3 if you have lots of Iron/trash.
Sens around 95
Audio response 3
Disc IAR 5, this is a good setting to give most Iron up to about 10 inches a broken sound, although deep Iron will still sound good, it's kind of no man's land.
It is vital that you get an accurate ground balance by using the PP button.
I like to introduce some threshold so I have a "Hum" in the background.

Tip : Search with your coil around 8"inches from the ground, this will help ignore small targets, what you are listening for is a long smooth sound.
