ARE YOU READY? JESUS IS!
Are you ready to leave this old world today?
Are you reading the Bible; do you kneal and pray?
Have you answered Jesus' call at your heart's door?
Are you living for Him and trying to sin no more?
Jesus is ready and He is calling to you;
He's wanting you to be His child and do-
The will of His Father by knowing He came,
To save your lost soul by believing His name,
Is above all names; so listen to His knock,
And open up your heart for He will unlock-
The stony blockage of your having unredeemed sins,
But by asking His forgiveness your soul He wins!
Don't wait too long before it is too late,
For losing your soul to satan may be your fate,
As the Liar tempts you in everyway he can;
To get you into Hell is his hateful plan,
And Jesus might shut your eyes and close your ears;
Then you'll not desire to be shedding tears,
To ask Him for forgiveness or save your soul;
Dwelling in the Lake of Fire will be your goal!
Mortal death may come at anytime don't you know?
Then you'll not have the chance before you go,
To receive Jesus, Who will have died in vain,
While bearing your sin's stripes and suffering pain;
There'll be many who keep the church pews warm,
Who think they are good enough and did no harm,
But when seeing Jesus, He'll say, "I know ye not";
Then cast into outer darkness and a lake fiery hot,
You'll surely be by not having a personal relationship,
With our Lord Jesus Christ, Who guides our trip,
On God's straight and narrow road to Heaven fair,
And just doing good works won't get anyone there,
You need God's saving grace for your eternal life,
By loving one another and not stirring up strife;
Jesus is the One and Only Savior guiding us Home,
By our faithfully living for Him and don't roam,
Where sin blocks His light,, so please don't wait,
He wants to welcome you through the Pearly Gate,
But if you're not prepared you will hear God say,
"You're not My child, oh sinner, and must go away,
You didn't answer My loving knock when I called;
Too many times you refused and deliberately stalled;
And continued in your sinfulness for the fiery lake,
You should've believed in Me for your soul's sake!
Aren't you ready to accept and live for Jesus now?
Do cry out in repentance and in humblemness bow,
Asking Jesus to come into your heart to forever stay;
Are you ready? Jesus is! Come and live His righteous way!
