May's best find so far

That's a cool one. I really enjoy finding dog tags and 1915 is an old one and that one is quite unique. Thanks for sharing and HH -Marc
 
Nice dog tag and I found several like it, but mine were in the 1930s. You know these are collectibles and those before 1900 brings some nice prices. I had a 1888 from a town in ND that was Dakota Territory at the time and became North Dakota in 1889. I got a offer of $200 cash or a 1865 $5 gold piece from a collector, took the gold piece and sold it last year and got $350 for it.
 
I beleive this is my oldest one yet, have another that dates 1916. This one is in nice shape, must be made out of brass, it was in some tree roots but I got it out and didn't even scratch it :) Would love to find a pre 1900 one!
