Meager T2 finds this morning

Went out to detect the old football field again but the heat and then the rain ran me off. Got about 45 minutes of hunting and found this small brass doodad and a 1947P Jefferson nickel. I am amazed at the propensity that the T2 has for small brass and gold in our South Texas neutral ground.

I bought my T2 used in May of this year and due to too many projects I have only got to use it about 6-7 times. There is something I like about the T2 that keeps me wanting it to be my primary unit when I do go out. I have 6 other metal detectors and they have been gathering dust since the T2 has arrived in my arsenal.

I think the secret lies within the want or desire for a unit to perform. I want the T2 to perform because I know it has some real chacteristics that will lend it to do so. Therefore, I put a lot of confidence in it. Oftentimes we become complacent with a unit and do not put all our senses into getting the most out of it.

True, there is some credence to frequencies and response time that can enhancement a unit's ability to perform. But when it all comes down to it...it's the driver behind the wheel that counts.

Yes, the T2 does SEEM to like these smaller brass and gold items...but then again, I put a lot of effort listening to it when I take her for a spin.
