melted enough snow to get out today

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Got out for a while today with my dad. We hit a local park hunted the sunny melted areas left the snow alone. Found a little clad, then we were approached by a lady and asked if we find things for people, we said yes and she said her kids had lost a set of keys in the tot lot the day it snowed and asked us to look for them we said we would she left her name and address. we looked for about an hour and finally found them in a snow pile at the end of a slide. Got them back to her on the way home they made up for the few finds was nice to see the smile of relief. Look forward to it warming a little so we can hunt some more before the real winter gets here. God Bless and good hunting. CNR

Don't send any here! Where did you say you live?
Glad you got out, and good job on the return! :)

Hope it doesn't snow here too early, but we have had two feet of snow fall in November during 1948 or 49 in Southeast Missouri.....dear hunters got caught out in the woods and two were missing and found dead in the spring! You did good in both :twodetecting: for coins and finding the lady's keys! I'm sure she was really happy to get them back! Hope it warms up again for you and you both get to hunt for and find the goodies! :)

God Bless!

We are in southern Idaho had a storm roll through Saturday the 11th 18-20" snow luckily the ground was warm and the wind didnt blow. The majority has melted already. Farmers should be back in the fields by Monday to finish potato and sugar beet harvest. The moisture was a gift from God after a long dry summer. If the rest of fall goes normal we should be able to detect till Thanksgiving or so. We have to break the $200 mark for clad and are about $20 away. God Bless and good hunting. CNR
