Its not every day that you can meet someone on the forum face to face. Last weekend I was down in Janesville WI for a knife show and had told Chris from SoCentral Wis. to drop in if he was in the area. Well he did and we had a nice chat before I had to get back to my table. Great guy... He showed me his gear, and I'm now convinced that the car trunks of all detectorists look the same....detector (Minelab, of course), head phones, probes, diggers, screwdrivers, etc etc. It would have looked identical to mine, but I had to take out my SE to make room for luggage for the weekend.

Being that we're only 3 1/2 hours away, I hope we can get together for a hunt sometime...

I have met up with him twice when he has been in the area and have done some detecting with him also. He's a great guy to go detect with and to talk to. And he's really lucky on those Key Date Coins! It wouldn't be so bad if you 2 met half-way and hit some towns in that area. Something to think about. Glad you were able to meet Chris and put a face with his name Knipper. He's a heck of a guy. I went out hunting today and darn near got skunked. Need some new sites.
