From the land of the Bluenose...this is just a small part of the mural that is in our local Superstore Grocery complex.
Before taking on my present job I did a bit of low end security during the renovation of this building. it is the policy of the company to put murals that reflect the community in the store. I was watching the fellow paint and told him that us diggers were a major part of this area and he should include a person detecting in his work. The fellow said that he would but would need a picture or something to work from. No problem so the next day I brought in Woody Diggit...my wood carving and that is the basis for what you see.
 
From the land of the Bluenose...the fellow who did the above painting also did this one which is two stories high! This is located just off Barrington St. in downtown Halifax on the side of a store.
