Metal Detecting "Hole in One"

If we define a metal detecting "hole in one" as stopping at a hunt site, turning on your detector and the first signal you get is a "gold ring"; how many holes in one have you had?
In my 35 years of detecting......I can recall five times I have done this on the beach. A gold ring on the first signal/dig.
I thought about this the other day when I stopped at a spot, got out, turned on the detector and the 3rd signal was a gold ring....
Anybody have similar experiences?
Just curious....

When you carried me waaaay down the beach Monday and let me out, the first thing I found was the silver ring. Never done that on gold...

My dad on his first day out w/ new Minelab hit 2 silver rings. And 4th time out hit another silver before the clad.

I have done that a lot of times, usually during the Summer between the high and low water marks where people have been swimming. If you detect these areas day in day out and the sea is fairly calm after a week or two there is little to be found but recent losses and for obvious reasons these are mostly rings.
Even better twice now I have turned on a brand new detector and the first find has been a gold ring. I think that one machine was a Bobcat and the other possibly a Garret Masterhunter.

Fred
ps The weather is has been awful here this week. I can't get to work today but the beach is frozen solid <img src="/metal/html/sad.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":sad">.
