Metal detecting in Cozumel

Jewelry girl

New member
Hi all, New to the Forum. Wanted to send you a pick of me in Cozumel in Nov. using my ace 250. Found about 20 coins in all and one copper ring. Found some Mexican coins not very old.
Had lots of FUN though. Wish I would of brought my Garrett Sea hunter Mark II and hunted in the water.
Happy Hunting!

Glad you had a great time. I would have thought you would have found a little more. I'm sure there were other things that occupied your time.

Welcome to the forum.:detecting:

welcome & looks like a real nice spot to hunt bet there's a ton of gold in the water.

But the resort discouraged it.

It's been like 8 years since I've seen the ocean beach. We took a cruise to the Bahamah's. Before we booked the trip my wife called the hotel and asked if detecting was permitted. The manager said it was fine so she wrote his name down. I borrowed my brothers CZ5 so I could get in the water some. I found 2 silver rings that are now misplaced in my house. But if the resort says no hunting then I'll look for a new resort. Well, if I ever get to go on another vacation?
