Metal detecting in Western Montana

Hi everyone.
I moved to Western Montana, several years ago from Tennesse. In Tennessee, I did a lot of metal detecting for civil war relics and still have my dectector but I am clueless as to what opportunites there are in my area to resume my hobby of metal detecting.
Can anyone help me out?
