Metal Detecting

I enjoy this hobby a lot, I may never find a lot of silver, or gold.I may dig a lot of trash, but I still enjoy those small insignificant finds. Who knows, I just might find something cool.

That is EXACTLY how I feel, Rick! I LOVE to come home with the killer finds, but even if I come home with trash, pennies and clad, I'm still happy and I still had a good time.

Rick, Your words are my thoughts as well. After surviving leukemia nearly ten years now, I feel blessed to even have a day to hunt. Should I find the 'Cool Stuff'...well...that's just the icing on the metal detecting cake of life. We are blessed to just be alive and be able to serve our loving heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

I was telling the guys today that even when we don't find the oldies, all the trinkets etc... are so cool to find!

I enjoyed it too, Rick, and thank you for calling me as it was nice to hear from and get to know you better by telephone, if we cannot by meeting in person! I never seemed to get enough of the hobby of :detecting: until I became too ill and unable to swing and dig anymore without getting ill for serveral days afterwards! Sooooo, enjoy it Rick and everyone while you are able and still here in your mortality to be able to do so! No one knows what the future will bring, so let us forget the troubles of the past, live for today and look forward to the future of being ready and waiting, patiently, to be caught up into our heavenly home and be with Jesus, our blessed Lord and Savior forever more! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
