Metal detectors for treasure hunting

sspecialme

New member
I want to buy a metal detector but I don't know which is the best. I found a lot of informations about that on findmall.com and I want to know more about which model is ideal for treasure hunting. Any recommendations would be appreciated, make and model, etc

Minelab's Explorer is the best for most that are primarily interested in finding coins. It is deep and has many features. You should decide how your detector will be used most of the time. For instance, will it be used for relics, coins, prospecting, salt water beaches or maybe in salt water. If cost is a factor that will need to be considered.

First you must define what you mean by Treasure Hunting. Are you wanting to coin and jewelry hunt, relic hunt or cache hunt? Are you going to another country to hunt for older treasures buried a hundred or more years ago. The depth of what you are looking for will dictate what detector or locater will work best for you, a detector such as the Explorer II is the best for coins, jewelry, relics, and some caches. But if you are looking for deeper treasure a Two Box or a GPR might suit you better. Give me a call if you have any questions.
