Meteorite?

BADBAJA

Member
Found on side of silver star mountain. NOT in a creek, about 4 inches under the dirt, rocks. The rock can be held up with a small super magnet used to pick up nuts and bolts they sell at autoparts stores. It also has little flecks of silver all through it. The outside surface has little black bumps that stick up like warts.

No crust but I am not sure if it would have that sitting under the ground that long?

You can see the silver flecks( nickel)? Also little black warts.

It could be but the only way to tell for sure is to have it tested at one of the labs that specialize in them. At least that's what The Meteorite Men say.

If they look the same and were dug close together
there may more of those at that location.
They could be meterorites, part of a larger numbers
that broke up on impact or entry.
May be worth getting them checked some are
worth money.
