I'm thinking never, I had pre-ordered it, my PayPal used to say "pending" or "authorized", I checked today and there is no PayPal record of having ever ordered it and the order from metaldetector.com is gone. Oh well, I'll just stick with my Garret and save $200. Kind of a bad way to do business, no kind of notice, no notice of cancellation....I pre-ordered it a long time ago and I'm glad I checked because now I realize I don't really need it.

yesterday I bounced mine off a rock that was about 50' away from me. cant wait to get my MI6. not even interested in the carrot.

As for me, this is the interference in Deus, caused by Garrett. I have two coils and the noise from Garrett is on both. It is necessary either to change or to shift the frequency, this is not always convenient.

The main reason for me is my puck and headphones are all scratched and muddy from me grabbing the headphones with my left hand and sliding the left ear muff to the side so I can hear my pin pointer. wont have to do this with the MI6 when its linked to the Deus. The sound holes always get plugged with mud and I have a hard time hearing my Garrett. The MI6 will come right through the head phones. MI6 offers I think if i remember right 50 levels of sensitivity when linked to the Deus. I also heard that the MI6 has a processor that can be updated. So it sounds like the MI6 is just a smaller coil for your Deus. I can see this going places like possibly rejecting those pesky iron pieces and going straight to the target. All this for under $200! I would have paid more but lets keep that under our breath.

Will be getting the new pinpointer from XP when they come out.I search parks and use headphones for a few reasons,one being not to make noise with all the
beeping.I feel the same with the pinpointer,why the noise? My carrot has been in vibration mode since day one,waterprooof,rugged,never got headphones dirty, and it works.Only hope the new XP pinpointer is as durable and quiet as the Garrett Carrot. There is interference on a couple of the new programs in the V.4 while useing the Garrett but they work with most .

4khz and 8khz always had interference from the Garrett even in 3.2. when you sit your detector down, set it with the coil as far away from the hole as possible. this will help.

I never liked the Garrett Falsepointer, but I am considering the new MI-6 but it'll be hard to let go of the White's TRX its a great pinpointer.

TRX is great if you don't sidescan your towel full of plug dirt.

Can't see paying $200 for a PP. I love my Garrett carrot. Never had any issues with falsing or interference with the Deus. I do hunt in 12 khz though. The most unusable PP I have is the TRX. It falses ALL the time. I would use my original black Garrett as my backup before the TRX.

Having said all that, I'm sure the MI-6 will be a quality piece. Maybe I'll consider one if it ever gets below $150.00.
