Might be time for a change

I have been using my Cortes for 8 plus years. I have made some good finds with it. Thinking about trading it in for a different Tesoro. Any suggestions ?

Maybe the Tesoro Outlaw. It would give you manual ground balance that is tied in with disc. mode (the Cortes has adjustable ground balance in all metal mode and has a factory set ground balance in disc. mode) and a bunch of neat coils that you could use on the Outlaw and the Cortes.

What kind of hunting do you do? Coins & jewelry, relics, etc.

This detector would mostly be used for coin and jewelry. playgrounds and soccer fields. Would also be a backup for my Excalibur while at the beach. Right now I am leaning towards the Vaquaro. I am finding that I watch the screen too much instead of digging it all. Some of the iffy screen readings make for interesting finds.

Coin, jewelry. playgrounds and soccer fields ya say..... Might I suggest the Golden with tones instead of the Vaquero? You wont go wrong ether way but the tones would be a nice fit there.
