wow first day out im finding nothing after over and hour of swinging and a few bottle caps and pennys im thinking there is seriosly something wrong hear i had a gq last year and it worked great best detector i ever had loved it now i get the gqv2 and im thinking back in the game yeah ! bummed out i finally look at the reject knob and i got it on max and it dawns on me whoops the surfmaster i had i put it on max gain finally put it on min. and it works like a charm gosh thought i had a lemon at first well jest goes to show you read manual first i thought i didnt have to cause i already had had a gqss so i was half asleep this morning 5:30 am beach after i figured all that out it works great it was high tide only did the dry sand jest trying to get use to it nice and quiet smooth easy pinpointing jest like the first gq digging deep started to dig up good targets im very relived that it was me and not the detector duhhh!!! going back for low tide this afternoon wet and wild yeeehaaaaaa!!!!! larry(ca)
