Minelab iPhone App

Hi guys, they just released an update for the Minelab app. I did the upgrade and you are supposed to now be able to set it for the detector that you are using. Unfortunately on both my iPhone and iPad the new app does not work properlly.

I'm not bashing these guys because I think this will eventually be a big improvement and I appreciate their efforts so far.

I think the author monitors this site so I'm hoping maybe he will see my post and make the necessary corrections. He may not have known there was an issue. It still brings up the Etrac manual even if you select the 705. It acts like it downloads the manual but when it finishes the Etrac manual is still their.

If the author would like to contact me I would be glad to give more details.

Hi - Martin the author here !! - My fault guys - really sorry I uploaded the wrong version - new version with working Manuals soon - If you delete the current version then reload from iTunes it should work as a databaase for your finds recording still.

The manuals in this version do load (only on WIFI as some of them are pretty big) but then when you go back in the ETRAC manual appears - i know I know - as useful a chocolate tea pot!

android version out now - new iPhone version out now with all the manuals although I uploaded a version with a program bug so you might have to reload the manual each time - this is now fixed and with Apple for clearance - should appear late next week (16th? Jan roughly). Happy Hunting everyone.
