Minelab Owners Forum Registration

I'm not sure if this question is allowed. Moderators feel free to remove if that is the case.

I've tried to register several times, but I keep getting the error , "The answer given for the random question was incorrect." The question is, "What's Minelab's pinpoint probe called?" I've tried ten different iterations of "Minelab pro-find 25 pinpointer" with zero success. I'm not a Rhodes Scholar, but I would have thought I could register successfully.

Thanks,
Bruce

It is simply referred to as "PRO-FIND 25" on their website.
Here's a link to their warranty registration page (you'll need to be registered as a user and logged in).
http://www.minelab.com/usa/warranty-registration

If you need any more help, get back to us and we'll see what we can do. If nothing else you can always register it over the phone.

Old Longhair,
Thanks for the assistance. I have already registered my warranty, and have registered as a user on the Minelab site. I have tried PRO-FIND 25, and several other variations. It always tells me the same error: "The answer given for the random question was incorrect.". I even tried to contact them utilizing the "Contact Us" page, but it also asks: "What's Minelab's pinpoint probe called?", and I get the same error. I'm obviously missing something.
Thanks,
Bruce

Are you just trying to register as a user on their site?
If so, then there are a few things that it could be. One might be a matter of turning your Active-X filter off (at least temporarily). Another possibility is whatever security setting you have assigned to generic sites (they might need to be tagged as "safe").

I've heard others say that they had trouble too, so you're not alone, but I have yet to hear anyone come back to say what they did to rectify the problem.....or if they ever did.

Thanks for the assistance. Yes, I am trying to register as a user on their site. I'll try what you suggest and get back to you.
