I went out last night and hit a few farms....found 6 wheats and a trade token from the late 1800's for a cigar shop in Chelsea Michigan...The town of Chelsea is 15 minutes from where I found the coin. I have intentions on cleaning it up, framing a picture of the cigar shop if I can find one, and hand delivering it to the family that still lives in the area.

After the farms.....I hit a local park and found the rest of the coins....

Anyhow....found 54 coins, (8 wheats total)...Man this freaking "SE" goes deep..!!!! I actually hit that farm yard real good with my v3 last time I was there.....found 1 Indian 1887 and a barber quarter 1899...so I was working real slow with the sensitivity turned all the way up to insure I didnt miss any coins........I apparently passed right over the wheats last time I was out with the v3 and never knew they were there....the minelab picked them off this time around!!

I love this machine and sorry for the lack of pictures.....I have slow internet and cant post pictures unless I have all day to wait for them to download.....HAVE A GOOD DAY!!

Craig, I just started using an SE myself and you are right, it's an amazing piece of electronics. Congrats on the coins.

Craig, you're going to master that thing in no time.....then I've got some serious competition! Good thing there's alot of good sites between us! Good luck.........D

Neat finds. Was that Chelsea token from F.E. Belser or W. Caspary ? These are the only cigar stores listed in the book Michigan Trade Tokens by Paul Cunningham. That's a great idea to try to find a picture of the store and frame it with the token and give to the family in the area.. That sounds like a nice Indian Head and Barber quarter. The most important thing I learned about any of the Minelabs is to go slow. Congratulations and HH!
