I have a Sov GT with the 10" Tornado Coil that I bought new from Ron at Dixie Metal Detectors in April 2007. I used it lightly for a couple of years of beach hunting. It was always protected and cleaned after every use. The control box looks as new as the day I bought it and the shaft and coil are in excellent condition with the usual scuffs on the bottom of the coil cover, which is also in excellent condition. The only problem is that the arm strap that was on the shaft arm rest came off but that could be replaced by anyone with any kind of skill. I just never felt the need for it. Other than that there are no problems at all with this detector. I charged up the nmih battery and went for a couple of hours the other day just to check it out. I also put brand new AA batteries in the spare battery holder. The detector also comes with the pouch, which I used for chest mounting. I also have the user manual and, I think, the box it came in. Also included are a set of Black Widow headphones. I will provide photos by email to anyone interested. The price is $600 U.S. and payable by U.S. Postal Money order.
