Click on the Minelab Banner at top of page to see the count down to something as well as Minelab appreciation day hunts that might be near you with prizes.
 
D'oh! I hope it's something wildly expensive that I couldn't have afforded anyway. Otherwise, am I going to hate myself for having just ordered and Xterra 705???
 
I too hope we won't be, " blown away" with the price. Hopefully, Minelab will have worked out all the bugs , if any.

Maybe Minelab they accidently discovered a new technology!
Or maybe they discovered a way to make a small LF DD coil for xterras!
Shouldn't be laim if they put it on a countdown!

A must have,doesnt matter the cost ,CTX3030 will be the new investment...

I would have liked to have seen the X-Terra 705 revamped to be waterproof to a depth of 20 feet of water, but hey, we can hope and wish. :cry:

Eddy: I have seen all sorts of speculation, including that the machine includes PI. Must hand it to Minelab: They created huge buzz up until yesterday, and now they have even more feverish buzz going until the machine is released in a few weeks. Genius marketing!
 
I couldn't care less about the GPS & PC mapping or the waterproofing for that matter. I haven't come close to reaching my 705's potential, I'll wait for the other features to trickle down to a lower priced machine before I consider purchasing another detector.
