Minelab XS service repair

I called Minelab 2 weeks ago and talked to customer service about replacing my 1/8 headphone jack on my Explorer XS. They said they could fix it and send it back with a not inside and a tech will call me. It didn't take long to get a call after they received the unit. The tech talked to me on the phone for about 15 min. I asked him if by any chance he could also replace the plastic screen. While he had me on the phone he was looking around for the screen and said he happened to have one. He called it a face plate that included all the push buttons. The techs name was John and very detailed, he said with the jack, face plate and shipping it back it would be around $140-$150 and that customer service would call me in a few days with the exact price. I told him to fix it and get back to me for a credit card #. I got a call 2 days later telling me it was fixed and ready to ship. The total price was $115.00, great deal and even better customer service. I have had my XS for at least 8 hard detecting years and happy it was fixable. Thumbs up to Minelab USA for all there help.
