Mineralization question

Member
I am a bit confused on what is considered high/low mineralization?

Also I went out today and messed with settings abit. After a bit of hunting I tuned out over thing below 30 except 12 just to get a feel for the 705. I was hitting memorial pennies up to 6+ inches in VERY dry ground. I was shocked. I rarely got this depth from my MXT. In fact I was hitting so many pennies I stopped digging them for a while. Hit on several dimes with this setting, even 3 in one hole

If you are getting an Auto GB of 20 - 23 when using a 9-inch concentric coil, your soil would be considered moderately mineralized. JMHO HH Randy
