MINI Intro / Short Hunt

The MINI has Volume knob, Sens. Knob and 3 position switch. Upper position is disc ( preset ) which is silent search, all that you will hear is non-ferrous target. Center is All Metal, Bottom is GND, for ground balancing. The MINI runs at 8.6 kHz and air test a nickel at 11", with AM doing an inch or so less. Hunting with the MINI is very easy, with the switch in AM, find an area free of metal and push the switch to GND. Raising and lowering the coil a few times and the detector balancing easily. This time I ran in Disc because of the area had been hunted pretty hard and because of that I moved the coil slower than normal. 2 small BSA button came in with good smooth audio with both targets being at about 6 inches or so with a couple of inches of grass and stubble. A penny came in loud and clear with the 3rd target shown coming in good, as well. Hopefully I can get out some more with this machine, it is easy to use, fun and very capable. Too, like other DeepTech machine, with the power lines shown, there was zero influence from EMI.

I would like to see it go head to head against the Tesoro silver U max.
