Modding xterra 705 for pinpoint press pad

Goodbaja

Makes it so I do not have to remove my thumb from the grip. Inserting the pressure switch.

This dot is right where the switch is. Just a twitch of the thumb and pinpoint mode. Push again and back out of pinpoint. No more tired thumb.

Still a quick disconnect to easily break down.

Next comes remote mounting of the batteries in the shaft. I already soldered into the main power wires and jumped them parallel. If I were to run both sets of batteries it would be close to 50hrs of run time. I am remote mounting the batteries to actually distribute the weight of the coil and balance it more. I would eliminate the internal batteries and mount them in the rod somewhere behind the handle. Like a mag light flashlight setup where the batteries slide in the shaft and a water tight cap. Factory speaker is already eliminated.

Neat mod....but it's not my thumb that gets tired.
