button. It's the size of a 50 cent piece, and has two dogs on the front. The backmark is "Hammond Turner & Sons" "Extra Quality" with a crown on the top. I also picked up this little crotal bell.
Off I went to the place I have been hitting the last couple of days. Did a little better there in the coin department.
1888 Large Cent
1902 Indian Head (Badly corroded)
186? Indian Head (Again...badly corroded)
and of course this earring...which I am certain must be a fake diamond since it's huge.

Well I hit the old homestead where I found the 1772 copper, and the sporting button. No coins surprisingly...but I picked up another beautiful sporting button.
