Well done Stan. How many hours of detecting did it take to get you all those targets? I just got back from 4 days detecting this afternoon, but didn't find much. Hit some of the old gold towns north/east of here, and from all the trash left behind from campers, made it near to impossible to detect. Still, I picked up an 1870 penny and about 7 old buttons.

Hello All. Thanks for your reply. I thought that things would slow down a little as the crowd is very small at all the beaches except surfers that is the main beach on the gold coast. The council has about 47 life guard towers along that stretch of coast. I am not sure about the distance from the first tower on the boarder of Qld and NSW,( below us )the distance could be about40 to 50 Kays. I will have to measure the over all distance one of these days. Surfacers seam to replenish it
