8" coil for my Classic III SL? If so, where could one be found and what color is it? (Maroon, black or white?)

and was the standard coil for the Classic ID the last several years. It is black in color. There were also the thin-profile Royal 800's that had the maroon colored top.
These two coils will work on the Classic III SL, Classic ID, IDX & IDX Pro, XL Pro, Quantum's, XLT, and all the former models that share the Blue Max series coils as these models.
From time-to-time you'll see the Royal 800 coils offered on the Classifieds. The ProScan 800's are a little tougher to find. You can also contact a White's dealer.
