more finds hunted out lot

Well I did a little better today did find 1 silver ring, some more clad 2 quarters, 3 dimes, 1 quarter looks like it was hit by a lawn mower. The yard also was full of pennies, some I can't hardly tell what they are. And a bunch more junk, only took a picture of the interesting ones, the tow hook showed up as 50 cents I can't figure that one out but it was deep. All the targets were out of reach of my 4.5 X 7 EXcelerator and 6 X 10 DD, but the 10 X 14 EXcelerator does go pretty deep. The VDI # and depth readings were not running true to what was showing, but I dig every thing anyway:thumbup: I guess its just a bad habit of mine. I am afraid of missing something:shrug:

And this is the lot that you had hunted out? That's a cool ring. Opal and what other stone is it? That's a great day of detecting. Just makes me wonder what all we've missed with NOT using that coil. That's ok. You'll have to come this way and go over the old rental property for us. :bouncy: Oh, by the way...........Thanks a lot for the rain you sent our way! Sounds like it's going to stick around for a while too. HH to all, Nancy

I really don't know what the other stone is, it has a red color to it, I couldn't get it to clean up as good as the other side. There was a black stain on allot of the finds I don't no what that was from unless maybe its oil stains. This housing area was built on a peace of property that had oil pump jacks on it years ago. Who knows. You would have to hunt a property with another coil before you run this one over it, or it would be to noisy pull taps would all have to be removed. It will be a great relic coil in open Fields. I am going to go back over some areas that I know have had allot of detectors over.:detecting: I sure am sorry about the rain!! I guess you really shouldn't say some place is hunted out, I may not of had my coil over every spot.

I am so happy that you found what you did in the old hunted lot. That's so cool. No, don't be sorry about the rain. We needed it and hopefully we'll be able to play in the dirt also. If not, we can listen and read what others have been doing. That's a great gift in itself/ Yeah, great detecting and patience too. HH and thanks, Nancy
