...One of my fellow Church Council members owns a golf course here in Michigan,with a clubhouse,which I guess is pretty lively on the weekends with live music,etc.WELL:He told me today"GUESS WHAT??As of May 1st,all bars in Michigan are SMOKE-FREE-So you can come and PLAY HERE!!!"(I told him a few weeks ago,that I couldnt because of my asthma,and the fact that all that smoke could trigger a fatal asthma attack in me-SO I might have to decide if I want to play at his clubhouse while his house band is on break.It IS owned by a Christian;and some other folks have told me they have been there;and not much happens trouble-wise:STILL,all different kinds of folks go to them places;Im just going to leave it to the LORD-If HE wants me to do it or not,I will let HIM decide....AMEN!!!

Good to hear. Should make the world smoke free. I smoked for years and was a welder too, and did not know how bad the smoke was until I quit. Can't stand to be around it now.

Owned by a christian and has a bar. Be careful where you play as I had a friend that thought playing in bars would be a good way to witness and guess what he fell. Be strong when you go there and do not back down about your faith. You may just be what those people need to here. Hope everything goes well for you. I look forward to you posting a video of you singing . Do you have any youtube videos?

Good for you, DK! My brother was a welder and smoked, also, but he quit in the mid or late 90's and never smoked again! All the nicotine and other drugs in cigs will damage lungs, bodies and kill people! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
