More history from my nieghborhood

New member
I was told by a nieghbor the other day while i was out MDing the streets that while the city was diggin down by my house they came across an old well full of dirt. they moved off to the side and continued digging. they then hit an old spring and reopened it. the water came gushing from the spring and washed out some of the dirt from the well. i dont have an exact location though i do have a decent idea of where this happened. the more the city digs the more history they are coming across. its shame there is no ordinance saying they have to preserve any history they find. it saddens me to hear they can just run through and destroy whatever they come across. i think they just reburied it all. this area is full of old underground springs.
