MORE MEMORY GOODIES:clapping:

I am an old timer and I remember the hand crank victrola! My grandma and great-aunt both had one. My cousin, Phyliss, and I used to play the old records on it when she was staying for a few weeks in the summer at her grandma's house. I had the box type for the old clay type records, the vinyl ones and then the long plays and also the 45's! Now there is no need for records....for the Cassette Tapes and the VCR players have replaced them. Just turn on the TV and the Computer and ya can play CDs or on a CD player! Oh how time and change is marching on, on and on! We've come a long way in a 100 years and just think what this century brings and will bring compared to the 1900's! No, I am not a 100 years young, as yet....but I've seen many relics and used them too! :) God Bless! Betty
