More passion for detecting

I wanted to thank everyone for their help and their great advice. I'm new to this forum and newer to Minelab and this forum has helped me tremendously in learning my machine.I have been browsing this forum for over a year and a half, the advise given and your opinions really help. I just now feel comfortable posting. I think Minelab users are extremely passionate about their product and this hobby. I have been hunting for 25 years, and learned most things on my own, its nice to now have a place to come and get real tips and tricks for success. I have posted a question here on the Tesoro user forum about a machine and it took forever for someone to answer and it was pretty much... go ask Tesoro.
If I had the same question about ML, I would have many answers and opinions, maybe a joke or two. Thanks for all your advise and opinions. I'm sure you guys/gals have helped others that have yet to join the forum and others seeking information, it helped me.

Eric I too used to be a Tesoro "GAL" but now that I have a Sov. G.T. I feel like a kid again! I guess the real reason that Minelab users are so passionate and "Happy Hunters" and willing to share that feeling with anyone who needs the help or just wants to listen is because minelab detectors give their users an edge, I have found this first hand, believe me! I am hooked on my G.T. It is by far the deepest, simplest and smoothest running detector I have ever owned, And I feel that if you cant say anything negetive about your machine than you are Happier than a pig in (BLEEP!) to share your finds and advice!
