More silver-going back through time

Went back to the same spot where I found my first Barber quarter a couple of weeks ago. I only had about an hour to spend I and really only got a couple of good signals. The first was a plain old penny, but the second was kind of faint and mixed in with some other trash signals.I love this SE. It just loves to sniff out little gems , particularly silver ones. So another first for me. I will keep going back there and time traveling. first a Rosie , then a Merc , then a Barber , dime and quarter, and now a seated half dime ! Lovin' it !!

Beautiful...like it was struck yesterday.

Very nice!! On my wish list!!

Beautiful !

They don't come out of the turf looking
any sweeter than that!! Congratulations!
Gold Nuggets :wiggle:

Great find  in very nice condition too. I'm dying to find a half dime.

who ever lost it must have droped it right outside the bank. that is one fine looking coin. looks as if it had little or no circulation.
congrats. hope you find some of it's mates.

AWESOME coin, AWESOME job!

How deep was it, and did you ever check the digital numbers on it? Just curious how it read...

Steve

It wasn't very deep at all, probably only 4 or 5 inches. It was difficult to get a read on the numbers because there was so much junk around it. The numbers ,as well as the crosshairs , were bouncing quite a lot but i just kept getting this little squeal that said " dig me ". So I did.

nice work on sniffing it out of the trash...that might very well be why it was still there.........great job on the 1/2 dime!
