mother and child pendant

beautiful day today. got a chance to do a little detecting today. found this pendant of a mother and child. the clasp i am holding onto is stamped 14 k. does this mean that the gold edge around the outside of the pendant is 14 k also, or just the clasp?. found $1.19 in clad also. thanks for looking.

That is a nice find and a touching one too. Very nice piece. I would bet someone is real hurt over that lose. That looks to be possibly hand made as well.
