Mr. Bill, sweep speed?

Mr. Bill, with the Aquastar II I have learned here in the forum that one needs to slow the sweep speed down when using the unit. Compared with a conventional detecter how much slower must one go? Is it slowed down enough that a person can only cover a smaller area? Guess I'm just trying to get an idea if using the unit really slows things down when looking for things.I can just see myself plodding along covering half the area I would ordinarily cover.Just getting a few things sorted out before I buy another detecter. Thanks for your time and insight.ED

Sweeping fast or slow has a sense on dry land only. When in water you're always slow, or very slow. This means that in any case you cannot be too much fast for your detector.
