Hey Mr. Bill
Last time we talked, you were going to come out to the great southwest to test the Goldscan 5, well I was out at the flats this morning near Wickenburg looking for nuggets and ran accross a couple of angry rattle snakes. The problem is with all of the rain that we have had the past two months, every weed is 4' to 5' tall and these guy's are hard to spot.
Bring some shin guards and don't reach under any bushes to check for nuggets, because you might find buttons instead. The Pacific Coast Rattler is a real bad boy. We have one of the best snake bite medical response teams in the country here in Phoenix, but the whole thing involves alot of drama, and could ruin your testing schedule. Thought I would give you a heads up. TB

Yes, I had thought about this also and was going to write you. I don't know what experience you have had out West Bill, but Spring is about here and snakes will be out, another one is the Mohave Green, this is one bad boy and likes to coil up around cresote bushes, do not put your hand into openings around or under rocks and boulders or sit where there is an obvious small cutback(cavern)under a rock, watch where you put your feet at all times and don't go without shin guards into or thru even the smallest of bushes etc. Don

Hi Guys
Thanks for the heads up on the snakes. The thought had crossed my mind more than once about that, but I thought I would be there before they made their arrival. All the rain must have rearranged their schedule.

Bill are you meeting someone there to tkae you out to some places? Don

Maybe you should try Bill Southern, he has the Nugget-Shooter forum, knows all the places and showed some interest when post were made about it to his forum. He is in Morristown outside of Wickenburg, near Rich Hill which is highly minweralized and a good test spot, alot of ground is claimed, but you can join the Weavers Mining District for $25.00 and they have about 2,000 acres of good ground there. Don

Not much to find on the hill except high minerialization and scrap iron, the flats that start at the base of the hill and go south is the best place to find nuggets. Rich Hill south to Wickenburg is alot of country, Bill Southern would be a good contac, he knows the area and the people that hunt in it everyday
Mr. Bill we here in the southwest are easy to deal with, we like hard liquor and fast women, or is it fast liquor and hard women, wait a minute I think I got this backwards, anyway we like liquor and women.
TB

LOL....Bill try to avoid these types of prospectors!!! LOL...Don

Don
Bill knows that I am just having alittle fun, he knows that the only thing hard and fast in my life is me having a hard time remembering why I went into the garage after I got in there, and how fast the first cup of coffee goes through my system in the morning. TB

Hi Bill,
I should have mentioned this earlier, but I have been in contact with Rob Allison in regards to your trip and he has indicated that he would be willing to assist you if he is off when you get to AZ, if you would like.
He is one of the best in the area and knows of and has access to a very wide range of ground conditions. This info would be great for testing purposes. Also, he is one of the best when it comes to finding nuggets. The guy is like a gold magnet. He is one of the best I have met when it comes to gold hunting.

Dodacious & I were out prospecting a bit between Rich Hill & Wickenburg Sunday and saw our first Mojave Green for the season...Here's the photo from my phone camera...Cheers, Ron

MR. BILL
YOU MIGHT TRY TO GET ACCESS TO A GOOD .22 REVOLVER, AND LOAD WITH CCI CB CAPS. LOW VELOCITY AND VERY SUB-SONIC, SO YOU WON'T BE MAKING MUCH NOISE. AND YOU WON'T BE SPRAYING NEW TARGETS OUT LIKE WITH A SHOTSHELL.
