Musket ball from area that saw Revolutionary War action

Went back to where I found a 1774 1/2 real and found a musket ball... The area has revolutionary war troops march through it

Nice musket ball , they get that nice patina on them after being in the ground all those years. Found quite a few in my day , still haven't found any Spanish silver. HH
 
Nice one! Just guessing from the Indian 69 or 70 Cal. ,that would make a nice impression if it hit you LOL

The English Bess shot a .72 caliber ball. The Colonists shot, well, whatever they had or could get, anywhere from .32 to .72 I would imagine. Awesome find!! I love finding Civil War bullets and relics but to be in a place where there is a possibility of finding Revolutionary War relics and to actually hold one that I had dug would probably be a little too much for me
