Musket ball location still producing

TomB

New member
Over the last several weeks I have recovered a number of .69 cal musket balls and other items from a farm field. Yesterday I recovered a 18mm solid brass button from the same location. The back mark on the button is Rich Gold Color. This type of button was used by civilians from the late 1700 to the early 1800, plain face one piece. These are the type imported from England and were used by most civilians of the era and occasionally turned up on Confederate uniforms. HH TomB

I have not ID the small button like object (silver color with cross lines) Not sure what it is.

I used a X-Terra-70, 10.5 DD 7.5 kHz coil, GB 27+2 and tracking.
