The coil on the "300" is a little different than the "Super 12" The coil cover for the Super 12 is too small for the 300 coil, so there must be some kind of difference in the two...........................

Maybe a bit in physical size, but I doubt much, if any, in performance. My two bits.

Don't know, just made me wonder if the size difference was the "secret" to the new set up. Wonder if anyone has tried the 300 coil on a regular, older model MXT?
