MXT & DX-1

Just bought a new DX-1 Sunray probe from Tom at Metal Detectors of Minneapolis. This was my first purchase from Tom and let me tell you, he provides EXCELLENT service. I ordered it on Monday evening and got it Wednesday afternoon. I mounted it on the MXT upper rod and ran a bunch of airtests. Hits a quarter at 2.75 inches. More importantly, the VDI using the probe match the numbers with the other MXT coils I have. Looking forward to getting out in the field with it this spring. With over 22 inches of snow on the ground here, it looks like spring may be a ways off yet.

Good to see you got one of the new probes of Sunrays as they are the best and worth every penny.
I bet you are waiting to get out in the spring and try your MXT as the ground was froze when you got it. I think you will be impressed with this detector as it does the job.
Good luck and Tom is one of the good guys, has to be as we are from the same town in ND.
