MXT finds more gold

Found this nice wedding ring at a local soccer field that I have been having pretty good luck at. I know I will get thrashed for making this suggestion but It has worked for me. The area I have been hunting is extremly littered with pull tabs and trash. I started only digging signals that registered and locked on to a VDI 8 to 18 and above 65 and my good finds have increased drasticly. I have found four gold rings in the last three outings and a ton of nickles not to mention several dollars in clad. I have been using the 8inch excelerator coil. All of the rings registered from 8 to 14 and locked on. I have found that nickles do not register above 18. I know that I will miss some stuff doing this, but because the place is so infested with junk this technique has put some goodies in my pouch. This has got to be one of the best hobbies their is. I love the MXT. I wish everyone the best of luck and please post your finds. I truly enjoy looking at others finds.

I use the same setup and my nickles always come up as a solid 20 on the id. Maybe it's a soil difference? Anyway, good job.
