MXT for prospecting in Black Hills

[size=large]might be true of the gold but ask armstrong custer about the hair thing. he tried to separate the gold from the dakotas and look how far it got him.

Never prospected before I not sure I would exactly know what to do or what kind of ground I should be looking in etc.
 
[size=large]there's a series of videos on you tube called finding gold that might help. start with finding gold vll. the guy talks about what detectors ya might use and why and what signs of gold to look for.

We are moving to Black Hills in South Dakota! We just got metal detectors..I found my first couple of clad quarters and one messed up penny just yesterday. I was cussing at first..but , then started understanding what some stuff on screen meant a little better as day went on. So..can someone tell me..if you have a half bar, but it is sounding off at 50 cent or one dollar..should you dig? does it depend how deep it is? Theresa
