took my mxt out to the beach today :detecting: boy its the king of the nickles 48 of them :super: most missed by other detectors..
was useing the 6 x 10 dd coil . love the way it separates nickels from the pesty square tabs.. the jewerly was junk but got me going when i dug it................... the mxt was rocking ........:super:

Very nice batch of coins . the nickels are great . I have been hunting a dirt area like that its around a swimming pool in a park and who ever hunted it was discriminating out the nickels cause in the last year I have dug over a hundred nickels out of the ground in that area and very little other clad .I think they just discriminate the trash area out on there detectors and miss the nickels. Congrats on your great hunt .

Hi wltdiz, I had almost as much luck about 3 or 4 weeks ago at the sports complex. I went along a maint. road in the back and in 5 hours I had picked up 46 Quarters (all) clad. Also 8 nickels, 10 dimes and 22 cents. I've been going to this place for almost 2 years now and still havent been over it all yet. and yea your right, it is the best out there for silver/gold/copper,etc. IMHO. Right NANCY. HH all GB

Looks like you hit the jackpot on nickels. Way to go! :thumbup: I love to see nickels and that's one heck of a nice spread. Wish we were close by and we could help you with that beach! :rolleyes: Nice Kennedy half also.

My beach bag is packed, but Larry has to stay home and go to work. :rofl: Really, we would love to, but airlines won't let General sit in coach. Maybe 1st. class??? You keep detecting that beach and make us proud! :clap: You're doing great at it. HH, Nancy
